Terms of Use

These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and Zawaj Match. By creating or using an account, submitting a profile, expressing interest, uploading a photo, or sending a message, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and voluntary participation

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. You participate voluntarily and may stop using the service at any time. Zawaj Match facilitates introductions; it does not arrange or require any relationship, meeting, marriage, or exchange of personal information.

2. No guarantee or professional advice

Profiles, compatibility suggestions, AI-assisted recommendations, and human observations are informational only. Zawaj Match does not guarantee identity, background, accuracy, compatibility, conduct, safety, availability, religious practice, marital status, or any outcome. The service is not legal, medical, financial, religious, or mental-health advice.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide truthful information, use only photos you have permission to share, respect consent and boundaries, protect your account, and comply with applicable law. You may not impersonate another person; harass, threaten, exploit, stalk, discriminate against, or deceive anyone; solicit money or investments; distribute another member’s private information or images; scrape profiles; or use the service for commercial solicitation.

4. Messaging, photos, and personal information

Mutual interest may open in-app messaging. Private photos require the member’s separate approval for a specific match. Zawaj Match does not automatically release member phone numbers or email addresses. If members voluntarily exchange personal information in a conversation, they do so at their own discretion and risk. Consent to communicate, view a photo, meet, or continue a relationship may be withdrawn at any time.

5. Safety

You are responsible for evaluating other members and deciding whether and how to interact. Use the block and report tools when appropriate. Never send money, financial credentials, identification documents, or account passwords. For in-person meetings, use a public place, arrange your own transportation, tell someone you trust, and leave if you feel unsafe. Call emergency services when there is immediate danger.

6. Moderation and enforcement

Zawaj Match may review reported activity, remove content, limit visibility, suspend accounts, preserve relevant records, or cooperate with lawful requests. Moderation is not continuous monitoring and does not create a duty to prevent every harmful act. We may change, interrupt, or discontinue features.

7. Assumption of risk and limitation of liability

You understand that interacting with people online or in person involves risks, including deception, emotional harm, financial loss, privacy loss, harassment, injury, and other misconduct. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume the risks of your voluntary interactions and agree that Zawaj Match and its owners, administrators, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for conduct of other users. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Zawaj Match and its owners, administrators, employees, contractors, and agents from third-party claims, losses, or expenses arising from your unlawful conduct, your content, your violation of another person’s rights, or your material breach of these Terms.

9. Privacy and content license

Our Privacy Notice explains how information is handled. You retain ownership of your content. You grant Zawaj Match a limited, revocable license to store, process, display, and transmit it only as needed to operate the service according to your privacy selections and consents.

10. Governing law and changes

Michigan law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any mandatory rights under applicable consumer law remain intact. Material changes will be presented for renewed acceptance. Continued use after accepting a new version is governed by that version.
